Ziti Lasagna

ziti lasagna is a heavy and delicious lasagna made with three types of cheese. To make this dish, you need ziti pasta, ricotta cream cheese, parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. ziti is a tube-shaped, small, hollow pasta that is baked in layers in the oven with meat, sausage and cheese.

It is necessary to use Italian spices to cook a delicious ziti lasagna. If you do not have this spice available, do not worry at all with half a teaspoon of thyme and 1 teaspoon of dried basil you can prepare this spice.


  1. Olive pasta (tube): 450 g
  2. Minced meat or large pieces of sausage: 450 g
  3. Tomato sauce: 900 g
  4. Grated mozzarella cheese: 220 g
  5. Ricotta or cream cheese: 1 serving
  6. Parmesan cheese: 1 cup
  7. Chopped large onion: 1 pc
  8. Chopped garlic: 2 to 3 cloves
  9. Italian spices: 1 tablespoon
  10. Dried and chopped red pepper: 1 tablespoon
  11. Olive oil: To the extent necessary

Preparation method:

Bring a container full of water to a boil and add a tablespoon of salt per two liters of water.

Then add the pasta and boil until it can be chewed, but let it still be a little firm.

Now pour the pasta into the drain to remove excess water.

Then pour a little olive oil on it so that the pasta does not stick together while you are preparing the sauce.

Pour a tablespoon of olive oil on a large pan and increase the oven flame.

Add sausage or minced meat. If you use sausage, separate each large piece as it turns brown as it turns brown.

Avoid over-roasting sausages or minced meat.

When the meat is almost brown, add the onion and fry well to combine the ingredients.

Continue for about 4 or 5 minutes until the onion turns golden and then brown.

Then add garlic, rosemary, basil, Italian spices and dried and chopped red pepper and fry until combined.

Heat for another minute and add the tomato sauce and mix well.

Turn down the heat and wait for the ingredients to cook slowly.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the baking tray.

Then spread half of the ricotta cheese or cream cheese on the surface of the dish in dots.

Pour some sauce on the pasta with a ladle and mix well, then pour the previous ingredients on the oven tray.

Pour the rest of the sauce over the pasta layer, as before, add the ricotta cheese or whipped cream, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese all over the pasta.

Wait for about 20 minutes to cook and the surface of the food turns golden.

After cooking, take it out of the oven and enjoy.
