Walnut rice is one of the traditional and delicious foods of Iran and Shahrekord province, which is a different and tasty pilaf. Walnut pilaf is also prepared with both chicken and meat. Walnut rice has numerous properties due to its walnut, including omega-3 and cardiovascular health, as well as weight loss.
- Rice: 4 cups
- Minced meat: 400 grams
- Walnut kernels: 400 grams
- Onion: 2 pieces
- Butter: 50 grams

First, wash an onion and then grate it and take the extra water, then mix it with minced meat with salt, black pepper and turmeric and start kneading, then put the meat in the refrigerator for half an hour to rest. Slow and more cohesive, then after this time, take out the meat and remove and round the desired amount of each and fry well in hot oil.
Chop the walnuts to the desired size and put them in water for half an hour to soften and drain.
Finely chop the other onion and fry it in a pan with a little butter and oil to lighten it, then fry the walnuts with saffron and a little extra barberry.
Pre-soak the rice with some salt, then put it on the heat to boil. When the rice is soft, drain it and put the bottom of the pot on the bottom of the pot, then pour a layer of rice and add some walnuts. Stir and continue this process until the walnuts and rice are finished, then we brew the rice for 45 minutes and at the end, pour a little oil and saffron on the rice and put it in a bowl and decorate it with meat and walnuts.
