If you want to use more vegetables for health, vegetable nuggets are perfect for you. Vegetable nuggets are not difficult to make at all and are much better and tastier than the ready-made nuggets found in stores. In addition, vegetable nuggets are one of the favorite foods of children. This vegetable nugget will definitely make your job easier in this area.

Ingredients :

  • Carrots: 3 pcs
  • Turmeric (yellow wild carrot): 1 pc
  • Small potatoes: 2 pcs
  • Beets: 1 pc
  • Broccoli: 1 bunch
  • Green pepper: 1 pc
  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bread powder: 2 cups
  • Large eggs: 3 pcs
  • Frying oil: 1 liter

How to prepare:

First, chop all the vegetables (except the peppers) into large chunks.

Now boil the chopped vegetables in a pot of water and some salt so that the fork easily sinks into them. Do not put all the vegetables together in boiling water. Broccoli is ready in 2-3 minutes. But the rest of the ingredients have to stay in boiling water for about 10 minutes to be cooked.

The easiest way is to put the vegetables in the food processor until they are finely chopped and mixed together. But if you don’t have a food processor, you can grate the vegetables or use a puree maker. Finely chop the green pepper and add it to the ingredients with salt and black pepper and mix well.

At this stage, the vegetable mixture is sticky but easily crushed. So it is better to put it in an oven tray and smooth its surface. Place the tray in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to allow the mixture to cool and harden. But it should not freeze. Once the mixture has hardened, you can easily mold it into a circle using a cookie cutter or cup opening.

Beat the nuggets one by one in the chicken eggs and then dip them in breadcrumbs. If you want to freeze the nuggets for later, put them back on the tray and put them in the freezer to freeze completely. Then put the frozen nuggets in the bag. You can keep it in the freezer for several months.

Fry the nuggets in hot oil for 3-4 minutes until ready to serve. You can also bake the nuggets in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. But frying gives a better taste to vegetable nuggets and the classic way is to prepare nuggets by frying.

Serve the vegetable nugget with any sauce you like.
