Today we want to introduce you to one of the popular desserts of the people of Turkey. This dessert of these ingredients is very tasty and delicious.
- Water: four cups
- Raw rice: half a cup
- Sugar: Three-quarters of a cup
- Saffron: Some
- Turmeric: a quarter teaspoon
- Rose: 3 tablespoons
- Corn starch: 2 tbsp
- Dried raisins: 2 tbsp
- Pine seeds: a quarter cup
How To Prepare:
Start by washing the rice in a strainer under cold water, leaving the water flow open for a few minutes to clean under the rice water. When washed and dried, pour the rice into a large saucepan. Add water to the pot to cover the rice about 1.5 cm. Bring the water to a boil, cover the pan, reduce the heat and cook the rice for about 20 minutes.
Pour four cups of water into separate pots. Add the saffron and let it soak for about 15 minutes. After softening, use the edge of a wooden spoon to crush the saffron and release the yellow color.
Add cooked rice, sugar and turmeric to saffron and water and bring to a boil. Add the rose and cornstarch to the corn and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes until the pudding thickens and turns a clear yellow color.
Turn off the heat and let the pudding cool in the pot for about 10 minutes.
Fill dessert cups or cups with pudding. Allow the room temperature to cool. Refrigerate for a few hours.
