- Saji bread: 6 sheets
- Milk: 4 cups
- Eggs: 4 pcs
- Butter or margarine (125 g): 1 mold
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Chopped white Turkish cheese, low-salt feta, or goat cheese: 500 g
- Italian chopped parsley: 4 tbsp
- To decorate: sesame seeds
How To Prepare:
Melt the butter in the microwave in a large bowl. Next, mix the milk, salt, and pepper and stir. Put it back on the microwave on high heat until the milk is warm but not foamy and does not overflow.
In a separate bowl, combine the chopped white cheese and finely chopped parsley.
Spread butter on the bottom and edges of a large baking tray. Pour one or two tablespoons of the milk mixture into the bowl. Next, remove the first sheet of saji bread and cover the bottom of the tray with it in an uneven manner. Apply about one-sixth of the milk mixture with a spoon on the savory bread. Let it enter the cracks and crevices and cover the edges.
Divide the cheese mixture into about five parts. Sprinkle one-fifth of the cheese mixture over the sage bread. Now, do the same with the next layer. Repeat until 5 layers are complete. Cover your dough completely with the last piece of sage bread. Put the last part of the milk mixture on it to keep it wet.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on your dough. Bake at 365 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes.
When your dough is cooked, remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle one or two tablespoons of cold water on it, then wrap the entire contents in a clean paper towel or towel. This helps to soften the top layer. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes, then cut it into squares.
