Ingredients :
- Melted butter: one-half cup
- Sugar: A quarter of a measure
- Fresh thyme: 1 tbsp
- Grate lemon peel: 2 tsp
- Sour lemon juice: 1 tbsp
- Wholemeal flour: one and a quarter cup
- Pistachio powder: as needed
Preparation method:
First, preheat the oven to the temperature mentioned in the tips.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter with an electric mixer for 30 seconds.
Then add the sugar and stir again to mix thoroughly.
Add thyme, grated lemon peel and lemon juice and stir.
At this stage, you should add the flour little by little.
Stir as much as possible with an electric mixer and after it hardens, continue the process of adding and stirring the flour with a wooden spoon.
Stir until the dough is ecstatic and should not stick to the hands.
Knead the dough well on the floured surface. Then divide it into several parts.
Cut each section into rectangles on the floured surface and make 4 cm squares out of it.
Put them in a pre-greased baking tray and sprinkle with green sugar or pistachio powder.
Place the tray in the oven for 6 to 8 minutes until golden.
