You might think that preparing Stroganoff mushrooms is difficult and not for everyone. But this is not the case at all. Stroganoff is very easy to make with simple ingredients. You can use this delicious and creamy sauce with mushroom pieces as a pasta sauce. The main ingredients of Stroganoff mushrooms that make it thick and delicious are milk, cream and mushrooms. In addition, the use of garlic, shallots, a little flour and parsley will give your Straganoff a better taste. Instead of vegetable juice, you can also use chicken or meat juice. If you don’t have any of them, you can dissolve a compact amount of vegetable extract in enough hot water and use it as vegetable juice.

Ingredients :

  • Butter: 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp
  • shallot: 1 pc
  • Grated garlic: 2 cloves
  • Sliced ​​mushrooms: 900 g
  • White flour: 2 tbsp
  • Cream: 1/4 cup
  • Milk: 1/4 cup
  • Vegetable juice: one and a half cups
  • Chopped parsley: 1/4 cup
  • Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon

How to prepare:

Pour the butter and olive oil in a large pan and place on the flame until the butter is completely melted. Then add the shallots and grated garlic to the oil and cook for about 3 minutes until slightly soft.

Add the sliced ​​mushrooms and continue to fry for about 10 minutes until the mushrooms are golden. Then add the flour. Continue stirring until the flour is slightly absorbed (1-2 minutes). Add 1/4 cup water to the mixture and continue heating until the liquid starts to bubble.

Add the cream and milk and continue to heat for another two minutes until the sauce begins to thicken. Finally, add the vegetable juice, black pepper and salt and, if necessary, stir the mixture from time to time to get a thick and smooth sauce. Close the lid of the pan and remove it from the flame. Serve the Stroganoff mushrooms immediately with the cooked pasta.
