Fasolia is a Turkish and Iraqi dish that has a different and attractive taste and you will definitely not regret eating it.
- Turmeric: To the extent necessary
- Salt: To the extent necessary
- Tomato paste: 2 tbsp
- Meat: 200 grams
- Onion: 1 pc
- Thyme (optional): 1 tablespoon jam
- Hot pepper (optional): 1 pc
- Tomatoes: 2 pcs
- White beans: 150 grams
- Omani lemon: 4 pieces
- Pepper: To the extent necessary
- Melted saffron (optional): 3 tbsp
First, wash the meat and then chop it.
Pour some oil in the pan and fry the meat with it.
Soak white beans in water for better cooking than 24 hours before. Now drain the beans to dry.
In the next step, chop the tomatoes and onions.
After frying, add the meat, onion and chopped tomatoes.
Then add the soaked beans to the chopped onion and tomato.
Now take two hours to cook the meat and beans.
Pour some oil into the pan separately. Then add the tomato paste to it after the oil is hot and fry it a little. Now you have to add the spices to the tomato paste. Roast the spices, especially turmeric. Pierce the Omani lemons and put them in the water. This will help to reduce the bitterness of the Omani lemon and make your food taste better. In the last twenty minutes, mix the tomato paste and spices with the soaked lemon zest and pour a spicy pepper into the pot. After a few minutes, the food is ready.
You can serve this dish with rice or bread.
