Spinach Piroshki

  • Wheat flour (sifted): 2 cups
  • yeast: 2 tbsp
  • Butter: 30 grams
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Milk or water: 1 cup
  • Ingredients inside the Piroshki
  • Chopped spinach: To the extent necessary
  • Chopped onion: 4 pcs
  • Grated cheese: as desired (plain cheese or Parmesan cheese)
  • Olive: Optional


How to prepare

Prepare the dough for the Piroshki . Mix the Baker’s yeastwith a little lukewarm water and let it form. In a separate bowl, add flour, salt, butter, oil, and milk.

If it is loose, add a little flour. Leave the dough to rest for half an hour. Then add the dough. Add a little flour.

Finely chop the spinach and onion inside the Piroshki.

Now open the prepared dough on the dough board, not too thick or too thin, cut it as you like, or use a donut mold.

Then add the spinach, chopped onion and black olives, then the grated cheese into a Piroshki  and knead the dough. Grease the inside of the oven tray and place the Piroshki inside.

Garnish the dough with black sesame seeds.

Now place the Piroshki in the oven at 200 degrees for about half an hour to 40 minutes to prepare. You can take it out of the oven whenever it turns golden brown. Now our donut is ready to serve.
