Sole Meuniere

Cooking some of the best classic French dishes is very simple and easy. Like this fascinating recipe! With this recipe, you will turn ordinary and everyday ingredients into a wonderful meal.


  • Halva fish fillet: two 400 gram pieces
  • Simple flour: 2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil: 4 tbsp
  • Butter, without salt: 1/3 cup
  • Lemon juice: 2 teaspoons
  • Parsley, chopped: 1 tbsp
  • Lemon: 6 thin slices

How to prepare

Season halva fillets with salt and white pepper. Flour both sides of the fish and shake off the excess flour.

Heat the vegetable oil over a medium to high flame. Add the fillets and some butter. Let them fry for 5 minutes until they turn slightly yellow. Turn the fish over and fry the other side for 5 minutes. Do this for all fillets.

Heat the remaining butter for one minute to melt. Add lemon juice, parsley and other spices. Pour this mixture over the halva fish and place the fresh lemon slices on top.
