One of the popular foods that is completely Iranian food and its origin is Iran and according to many people in Golestan province. The name of this delicious dish is rice and mung bean. The mung bean seed used in this food is a native plant of India and in this country foods with mung bean have been prepared, but today it is cultivated and used in many countries of the world, including Iran, and it is cooked with rice. It has made it completely Iranian. It is a rich source of nutrients including potassium, magnesium, copper, zinc and a variety of B vitamins. The ingredients in this food, including proteins, resistant starch along with dietary fiber, prevent hunger. It controls and lowers cholesterol levels, which protects against heart disease. Mung bean also helps lower blood pressure and contributes to another cardiovascular risk. Mung bean contains antioxidants that prevent the development and progression of cancers and fights this disease. These seeds also prevent or even treat type 2 diabetes and have a very high anti-diabetic effect. Other properties of mung bean include its very high antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Ingredients :

  1. Rice: 2 cups
  2. Mung bean: 1 measure
  3. Meat: 250 g
  4. Onions: 1 medium
  5. Salt: To the extent necessary
  6. Pepper: To the extent necessary
  7. Spices: To the extent necessary
  8. Oil: To the extent necessary

Recipes :

First we soak the rice.

Pour the onion in the oil and wait until it turns golden.

We mince the meat and add it.

Close the lid and wait for some broth to be taken.

Pour 2 glasses of water in it and let it cook with a gentle heat.

Pour the mung bean in a pan and fry it, and then simmer it with salt-free water.

Then add mung bean to the meat and mix spices and saffron with it.

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over the rice, then pour in the rice and allow to simmer.

Then drain the rice.

Finally, we add the prepared ingredients side by side when brewing rice and brew the rice.
