Italians are very creative in making pasta. Ravioli is also a type of pasta. Pasta filled with ingredients such as meat, cheese and vegetables such as spinach and then boiled. It is usually shaped like a square or a semicircle. The ravioli is then served with sauce or broth, chicken or vegetables.
- White flour: 3 servings
- Eggs: 3 pcs
- Water: 1/2 cup
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Minced meat: 250 g
- Cooked chopped spinach: 1/2 cup
- Chopped parsley: 1 tbsp
- Butter: 1 tbsp
- Grated pizza cheese: 100 g
- Garlic: 1 clove
To make ravioli dough, first mix white flour and salt well. Make the flour into a small mound on a baking sheet and make a hole in the middle. Put two eggs in the flour pit and slowly break the yolks with the help of a fork and stir in the flour. Keep doing this until the dough is obtained.
Gently add warm water to the dough and knead well to harden. Now cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
While the dough is resting, pour the minced meat with the butter in a pan and grate the garlic on it and fry well. Then add spinach, eggs, parsley, salt and pizza cheese and mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Now remove the ingredients from the flame and allow to cool slightly. Set aside a small spatula of ingredients for decoration.
After 15 minutes, take out the dough and spread it on the cooking board with the help of a rolling pin. The thickness of the dough should be 2 or 3 mm. Using a spoon, remove the meat mixture and place on the dough.
Now turn one side of the dough and stick it together by hand. Then use the fork to make a groove in the edge of them. Place the ravioli in a corner to dry slightly.
Now fill a pot with water and add a tablespoon of salt. Put the pot on the gas and when it boils, carefully put the ravioli in it. After 20 minutes, you can take them out of boiling water.
Put them on a plate and serve with the ingredients you have already set aside with your favorite sauce.
