Pretzel

Pretzel

Pretzel is a dry loaf of bread that is sprinkled with a little salt before baking and is often eaten as a snack.

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 6 scoops
  • Dry yeast: 1 tablespoon jam
  • Sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Milk: 1 cup
  • Eggs: 2 pcs
  • Oil: 3 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1 tablespoon jam
  • Coarse grain salt: To the extent necessary

How to prepare

Dissolve the yeast with a tablespoon of sugar in a cup of lukewarm water and place in a warm place for 10 to 15 minutes. Then pour the yeast solution into a bowl and add milk and salt and stir. Add the remaining four cups of flour and sugar little by little and mix the ingredients together by hand or with a wooden spatula.

Roll the dough like a hamburger loaf and toss in a greased bowl. Turn the dough a little to grease it. Then cover the bowl and sleep in a warm place for two hours until the dough rises.

Sift a cup of flour with baking powder and sprinkle on the board. Knead the dough on the board to absorb the flour. Roll out the dough to the size of a ping-pong ball and roll between two palms. Rub each ball on the board to form a thin pencil string. Loop each string and tie its two ends and place it in the oven tray where you greased the shoes.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Beat the eggs and brush with a brush on the porcelain and sprinkle a little salt under and over it.

Place the tray in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Then turn off the oven and leave it a little open to dry and cool the chopsticks. Visit them occasionally at this distance so that the heat left in the oven does not burn the wood of your salt shakers.
