Baked potato soup is one of those diet soups that is very nutritious and healthy. In this tutorial, we want to teach you this delicious soup in cook plans.
Ingredients for 4 people:
- Flour: 1 tablespoon
- Bacon: 3 layers
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Cooked potatoes: 2 pieces
- Onions: 4 pieces (chopped, green and white parts separated)
- Chicken stock: 8 cups
- Chopped cheddar cheese: as needed
- Salt and black pepper: as needed
- Tabasco sauce: as needed
- Half milk mixture, half cream: 1/2 cup
Place a large saucepan on the stove and heat over medium heat.
Put the bacon in it and cook for 5 minutes until crispy. Using a perforated spoon, take it out and set it aside. Just keep a thin layer of bacon fat and discard the rest.
Now add the garlic and the white parts of the onion to the pot and cook for 2 minutes until the onions are clear.
Add the flour and mix well to cover the ingredients well.
Pour the chicken stock into it and stir to prevent it from becoming a bullet. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.
Chop it and add it to the pot and mash the potatoes in the stock.
Puree the soup in a blender to make it softer. Cut another potato into cubes with the skin and pour the milk and cream mixture into the soup.
Then add salt and black pepper to the soup for a better taste. Lower the flame and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Pour the soup into bowls and use the bacon, a little chopped cheddar cheese, the green part of the onion and some Tabasco to decorate.
