One of the simplest types of pasta in Italy is pasta with tomatoes and basil. This food is one of the main Italian dishes and it is very quick and easy to prepare. You can prepare this food in less than half an hour.
- Tomatoes: 1 kg
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil: 40 ml
- Chopped garlic: 3 cloves
- Basil: To the extent necessary
- Chili pepper: To the extent necessary
- Penne or any other type of pasta: 1 pack
- Parmesan cheese: To the extent necessary
- Salt: To the extent necessary
Chop the tomatoes and remove the seeds. Then break them into smaller pieces.
Pour the oil into a large saucepan to heat. Then add garlic and chili pepper.
As soon as you smell the garlic and the garlic is sufficiently fried in oil, add the tomatoes to the pot. Roast the tomatoes over high heat. Use a wooden spoon to mash the tomato pulp.
Add the basil and salt to the tomato and garlic mixture. You can chop the basil or add it whole to your food. Once the sauce is ready, remove the tomato and basil mixture from the gas and place it in the food processor for one minute.
Put the pasta in boiling water to cook. Then drain it.
Pour the pasta into a bowl and serve with the sauce. You can add a little olive oil to your food and mix it with the sauce.
Garnish the pasta with a little Parmesan cheese.
