Ingredients :

  • Medium red onion: 1/2
  • Chopped cauliflower: 2 cups
  • Small potatoes: 5 pcs
  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Chopped coriander: 2 tbsp
  • Indian spice gram masala: 1 tsp
  • Curry powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper: To the extent necessary
  • Chickpea flour: 2 cups
  • Water: 1 cup

How to prepare:

First of all, prepare Pakora vegetables. Chop the onion into thin slices. Separate the small cauliflower flowers or chop them. Cut the potatoes into thin slices. The thinner the better.

Now pour all the chopped vegetables in a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, gram masala, curry powder, crushed garlic and chopped coriander. Turn the vegetables upside down to mix well with the spices.

In another bowl, combine the pea flour and water to form a loose dough similar to pancake batter. Pour the pea paste over the vegetables and turn upside down. The dough should be large enough to cover all the vegetables well.

Place two large pans on the flame. Pour enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan. To fry Pakora, wait for the vegetables to heat up.

Now take the vegetables one by one with a spoon and transfer them to the pan. Try to take the onions together a few at a time to fry them together. Reduce heat to low and fry on each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Place the fried pakora on a plate covered with a towel to remove excess oil. Keep frying all the vegetables.

Serve the puree with the desired sauce. You can use chutney, homemade ketchup sauce or even yogurt.
