Onion pasta is a wonderful vegetarian food that is prepared very quickly. Join us to teach you how to prepare onion pasta.
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Chopped large onion: 4 pcs
- Crushed garlic: 2 cloves
- Tomato paste: 1 tbsp
- Peeled tomatoes: 1 can (400 g)
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Black pepper: Teaspoon
- Freshly chopped basil: 1 tbsp
- Water: a quarter of a measure
- Pasta: 500 g
Pour the oil into a large bowl and place over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic and continue to cook until soft.
Add tomato paste, peeled tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil and water. Place in a bowl and reduce heat to simmer and thicken for 20 minutes.
While the sauce is preparing, boil a large bowl of water with a pinch of salt.
Add the pasta and boil for 8-10 minutes and drain.
Add the sauce to the hot pasta.
You can also add grated cheese if you like.
