What would French cuisine be like without a Nicoise salad? Your trip to French cuisine will not be complete unless you learn how to make this unique salad!
- For salads:
- Tuna: A can
- Green beans: 110 grams
- White potatoes: 225 grams
- Eggs are cooked and divided into four parts: 4
- Lettuce: 4 cups
- Black olives: 2/3 cup
For the sauce:
- Olive oil: half a cup
- Vinegar: 1/4 cup
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Mustard: 1 tbsp
- Anchovy fish: 4 pieces
- Salt and pepper: to improve the taste
How to prepare
Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft. Divide each into two parts.
In a pan, pour a little oil and put the potatoes in it. Cook for 2 minutes, then transfer to a medium bowl. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper and set aside.
Use the same water you used to boil the potato and boil the green beans for 2 minutes. Transfer the beans to an ice bowl. And dry them on paper towels.
Beat the vinegar, mustard, garlic and oil in a good mixer. Add salt and pepper to the mixture.
Put the lettuce in a bowl. Fill the lettuce with anchovies, then boiled green beans and potatoes.
In another bowl, mix the tomatoes and green beans with the sauce and then place them on the salad. Complete your work by placing pieces of tuna and cooked eggs in the center of the dish. Finally, garnish the salad with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
