Greek food moussaka is a mixture of eggplant, potatoes, meat and pizza cheese. This dish is delicious, tasty and high in calories. Moussaka is easy and quick to prepare.
- Minced meat: 500 g
- Eggplant: 6 pcs
- Chopped bell peppers: 2 pcs
- Potatoes: half a kilo
- White sauce: 1/5 cup
- Pizza cheese: 2 cups
- Tomato paste: 3 tbsp
- Salt and pepper: To the extent necessary
How to prepare:
To make moussaka, peel the eggplant and potatoes, cut into rings and fry in oil.
Fry the minced meat with the bell peppers and then add the tomato paste to them and fry.
Grease a Pyrex dish and pour some white sauce into it and cover the whole bottom.
Put the fried potatoes on the bottom of the dish and sprinkle some salt on it and then put the eggplants on the potatoes.
Then cover the next layer with fried meat and bell peppers and pour white sauce on them and finally add grated pizza cheese.
Preheat the oven to 180. C for a few minutes and place the moussaka in the oven for half an hour.
How to prepare Moussaka white sauce:
Mix one and a half glasses of milk with a tablespoon of white flour and put it on low heat and stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
Then add a tablespoon of butter to the sauce and turn off the heat.
