Margerita Pizza

When it comes to Italian food, we all remember the country’s pizzas. So the first option may be very obvious: the famous Italian Margarita pizza. The pizza was first prepared by the famous pizza maker, Rafael Spuzino, and for Queen Margerita.


  • Flour: five glasses
  • Sugar: a tablespoon
  • Salt: half a tablespoon
  • Yeast dough: two tablespoons
  • Liquid oil: four tablespoons
  • Tomato or pizza sauce: To the extent necessary
  • Mint: a few leaves
  • Mozzarella cheese: To the extent necessary
  • Water: Two glasses

How to prepare

First, take a bowl (relatively large) and add three cups of flour, one tablespoon of sugar, half a tablespoon of salt, two tablespoons of sourdough, four tablespoons of liquid oil and two glasses of water little by little. After mixing thoroughly, add two more cups of flour and then continue to mix until a smooth dough is obtained. Finally, close the lid and leave the dough to rest for half an hour.

After half an hour, remove the dough from the dish and divide it into three equal parts, and make each piece of dough into a circle and open it with a rolling pin. Spread the opened dough in a special oven tray and grab some holes with a fork Make on the dough. Then bake the tray at 200. C for 10 minutes.

Cover the surface of the half-baked dough with pizza or tomato sauce and add pieces of mozzarella cheese and a few mint leaves to the pizza dough.

Put the tray back in the oven at 200. C for 20 minutes.

Margerita’s pizza is ready and all you have to do is serve this delicious pizza before it cools down.
