Italian Pistachio Biscotti

  • Egg whites: 2 pcs
  • Sugar: 60 grams
  • Flour: 40 grams
  • Vanilla essential oil: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pistachio kernels: 80 grams (or walnuts and almonds)

How to prepare:

Beat the egg whites in a fat-free and moisture-free bowl until smooth.

Add sugar little by little, stir until the sugar dissolves and the ingredients harden.

Fold the vanilla essence (cardamom) and flour in it.

Gently mix the pistachio kernels into it.

Flatten the ingredients and cook for about 35 minutes.

Now take it out of the oven and let it cool. (Preferably cover overnight at room temperature)

Now cut half an inch with a sharp saw blade.

Place the biscuits in the oven.

Place in a preheated oven at 150 ° C for 10-15 minutes to dry and crisp.

After removing the oven and cooling it, you can keep it in a dry and cool environment for a long time.
