Iranian Cutlet

Cutlet is a food that you can prepare and serve at any time. It is a food that mothers usually have to hide when cooking, because otherwise half of it is eaten by the children before serving them on the table. This is a compact food because you have to spend all the time cooking. Spend in front of the stove and take care of the cutlets and do not burn them. But trust me, it’s worth the effort.

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • Minced beef: 250 grams
  • Large potatoes: 2 pieces
  • Medium onion: 1 piece
  • Turmeric: 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs: 1 piece
  • Aromatic vegetables: To the extent necessary
  • Oil: To the extent necessary
  • Grated garlic: 2 cloves

Preparation method:

Grate the potatoes in a large bowl. Grate the onion and add to the bowl. Add minced beef, turmeric, salt, garlic and black pepper. Then add the eggs and mix well.

Place the oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Take a small amount of the mixture (about 2 tablespoons) and make it oval so that it is not too thin or too thick. Now gently place the cutlets in the pan.

When you see that the bottom is golden brown, turn it over and fry the other side. Add more oil if necessary. When both sides are well fried and ready to serve, add as much extra oil as possible then serve.
