Today we want to teach you a delicious salad. Greek chicken salad, in addition to its special taste, has many nutrients that are good for our health.
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
- Dried apricots: 1 cup
- Orange juice: 1/2 cup
- Fresh lemon juice: 2 tbsp
- Red vinegar: 1 tbsp
- Dried oregano: 1 tsp
- Garlic: 1 grated clove
- 170 g chicken breast: 3 pcs
- Lavash bread: 2 full 15 cm
- Cherry tomatoes: 1 cup halved
- Spicy pepper: 2 tablespoons
- Cucumber: 1/2 sliced
- Greek yogurt 2%: 2 cups
How to prepare
Turn on the grill and put on medium heat and apply oil on it.
Put apricots and orange juice in a small microwave bowl. Cook for 3 minutes until the apricots are soft. Set it aside.
Mix lemon juice, vinegar, oregano, garlic, 1/4 teaspoon salt and some pepper. Gently pour in the olive oil while stirring. Pour 1/4 teaspoon of salt and a little pepper over the chicken, then add 2 tablespoons of the sauce. Grill the chicken until the grill design falls on it. Cook on each side for 4 to 5 minutes until the inside temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Let stand for a few minutes, then cut.
Spread the sauce on the lavash breads and grill on each side. Cut each into 6 triangles. Combine lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers with the remaining sauce. Divide chicken, pita and salad evenly between 4 plates.
For dessert , pour the yogurt into 4 small bowls and pour the apricots and juice over it and serve.
