Galette Bretonne is a delicious French pastry that the French people love and are cooked in a variety of ways. Today we are going to teach you one of these methods.

First let the butter come to room temperature and add salt to the butter and mix well to form a worm.
Add the sugar to the butter and mix well to make it white. Add the egg yolks and mix with the egg whites. Then add flour, baking powder, and almonds to the batter to mix.
Put the dough between two greased baking sheets and cut it to 18 cm by 24 cm.
Rest the dough in the refrigerator for one hour.
Mold the dough into a 5 cm round mold. Place each piece on the oven tray. Pour the egg yolk with a brush on the surface of each.
Traditionally there are lines on this pastry with the fork on it making parallel slots in two different directions. The biscuit is cooked in a mold to prevent the biscuit from spreading its edges. Bake in pre-heated baking oven at 170° C for 5 minutes.
