This cutlet (frikadellen) is one of the most popular German dishes and is very popular among them. It is usually served with baguette bread and potatoes.
- Minced meat: 500 g
- Baguette: about 10 cm
- Mustard: 1 tsp
- Salt and pepper: To the extent necessary
- Eggs: 1 pc
- Finely chopped onion: 1 large
- Paprika Powder: 1 tsp
- Garlic: 1 clove
Baguette: about 10 cm (meaning the length of a baguette, your baguette must be stale, for example, it was bought the day before)
How to prepare:
First, soak the baguette in 1 glass of water for about half an hour.
Then press by hand to remove excess water from the bread, but not so hard and dry.
Roast the onion and garlic with 1 tablespoon of butter until slightly soft. (You can also pour raw)
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Heat a pan and pour a little oil.
Take a small ball of material, roll it in your hand and fry it in a pan over medium heat.
Do not overheat. It should not burn. You do not need too much oil to fry the cutlets.
You can also use sauteed butter inside the cutlet.
In addition to this cutlet, you can also use special German potatoes.
