Caramelized onions have never been so delicious. If you only eat this French food in restaurants, it’s time to try it at home.
Ingredients:
- Onions, thinly sliced: 900 g
- Thyme: 3 branches
- Salt: 3/4 teaspoon
- Scented leaves: 1 pc
- Salt-free butter: 56 grams
- Purposeful flour: 2 tbsp
- Beef broth, low in salt: 4 cups
- Water: 1 and a half cups
- Powdered black pepper: half a teaspoon
- Baguette: 6 pieces
- Amantal Cheese: One Piece
- Parmigiano cheese: 2 tbsp
How to prepare
Heat a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, salt and thyme with butter. Continue cooking until the onions are slightly browned. This process will probably take about 40 minutes. Pour the flour into the pot and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add beef, water and pepper to the ingredients and mix well. Let it cook for another 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
On a baking sheet, test the bread on both sides for 15 minutes.
Take the bread out of the oven and set aside. Preheat a frying pan. Put the bowls in the pan.
Discard thyme leaves and fragrant leaves. Pour the prepared soup into the bowls. Sprinkle some cheese on each bowl.
Heat the bowls for about 5 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles appear on it.
