- Butter: 70 grams
- Sugar: two-thirds cup + 1 tbsp
- Eggs: 1 pc
- Vanilla: half a teaspoon
- Flour: 1 cup
- Baking Powder: One and a half teaspoons
- Salt: a quarter teaspoon
- Milk: One-third of a cup
- Cinnamon: half a teaspoon
How to prepare:
First, turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celsius and let it heat up. Grease an 18 cm round mold with a little oil and set aside.
Allow the butter to soften slightly. Set aside 10 grams of butter. Chop the rest of the butter and pour it into a large bowl with two-thirds of the sugar. Mix it with a good electric mixer until creamy and light in color. Then add the eggs and vanilla and mix with it.
In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Add a little flour mixture to the previous ingredients. Then add a little milk and stir. Repeat this until all the ingredients are well mixed.
Pour the cake batter into the pre-prepared pan and spread evenly. Place in the oven for 25-30 minutes to bake. Dip a toothpick into the cake. If the clean toothpick comes out of the cake, your cake is ready. Remove from the oven.
As the cake is hot, spread 10 grams of the remaining butter on it. Mix the cinnamon with a tablespoon of the remaining sugar and sprinkle over the cake. Your cinnamon cake is ready to serve.
