Indian cuisine is a spice-filled dish, especially spicy ones, and is known all over the world for its fragrant food. Tikka Masala Chicken is one of these foods.
- Chicken breast: 300 g
- Yogurt: 1 measure
- Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Ginger: 5 g
- Gram Masala: 1 and 1/2 teaspoons
- Tomato paste: 3 tbsp
- Onions: 1 pc
- Turmeric: 1 tsp
- Tomato puree: 400 g
- Chicken juice: 1 cup
- Cream: 1/2 cup
- Butter: 2 tbsp
- Chopped parsley: To the extent necessary
How to prepare:
Step 1: How to prepare Gram Masala spice
To make gram masala, add 2 teaspoons of black cumin powder, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder, 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper, 3 teaspoons of ground coriander seeds, 3.4 teaspoons of minced cloves, 1 teaspoon of tea. You will need 3-4 teaspoons of nutmeg and 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of black pepper.
Pour all the spices into a dry bowl and mix together. Then fry them for 3 minutes on very low heat (smell) until their aroma is released and combined.
Pour the spices into a glass jar with a lid and use for 3 months.
Step 2: Prepare Tika Chicken
First, chop the chicken breast into chunks.
Pour the yogurt, lemon juice, salt, garlic and grated ginger and half of the spices (preferably except turmeric) into a bowl and mix together. Put the chicken pieces in the ingredients, cover them and put them in the fridge for 2 hours to rest and taste.
Pour a little butter into a deep pan. Finely chop the onion and fry it with garlic until golden. Then fry the seasoned chicken with the onion for about 5 minutes until it changes color.
Add the tomato paste, ginger, masala spice, red pepper powder and turmeric to the chicken and cook for about 1 minute.
Pour the tomatoes into the mixer and puree. Add the necessary amount of puree or tomato sauce, chicken broth, salt and pepper and let the ingredients boil and simmer.
Turn down the heat and stir all the ingredients every few minutes. Put it on a gentle heat for about 10 minutes to cook the chicken pieces with the other ingredients.
Add the cream to the chicken and stir for about 1 minute before serving.
Serve Tika Gram Masala chicken in your desired dish and decorate it with freshly chopped parsley to double its flavor.
