Chicken Pie

As you know, high-fat foods can cause heartburn. But chicken legs are good for everyone, especially for people who have heartburn.

Ingredients for 4 people inside the chicken legs:

  • Chicken extract: 450 ml
  • White vinegar: 100 ml
  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Thyme: 3 branches
  • Tarragon: A branch plus a branch of sauteed leaves
  • Curled carrots: 225 g
  • Skinless chicken breast: 4 pieces (400 g)
  • Chopped leeks: 225 g
  • Corn flour or rice flour: 2 tablespoons
  • Water: 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cream or sour cream: 3 tablespoons
  • Dijon mustard: a teaspoon
  • Sauteed parsley or coriander: a tablespoon

Ingredients on chicken legs:

  • Pastry dough: 70 g
  • Vegetable seed oil: a tablespoon
  • Pepper: To the extent necessary

Preparation method:

Choose a large pan and put it on the heat. Then pour the vinegar along with the chicken extract, garlic, tarragon, thyme twigs, and sliced ​​carrots into the pan and wait for it to boil due to the heat.

After boiling, reduce the flame and let the ingredients boil together for 3 minutes.

Add the chicken to the pan with a little pepper and close the pan and let it boil for 5 minutes.

Then add the leek pieces and let it boil again for another 10 minutes.

Then turn off the heat and after cooling for 15 minutes, pour the liquid into the pan into another container with a volume of about 500 ml, if it is less, add some water to it.

Pour the chicken and vegetables into a one-and-a-half-liter bowl for the pie and remove the vegetable twigs.

Pour some oil into the pan and pour the liquid into the pan into the oiled pan, and slowly add the mixture of water and corn flour (or rice flour) to it.

And wait for it to boil. Stir the liquid constantly to harden.

When the sauce thickens, remove the pan from the heat and add fresh cream or sour cream, Dijon mustard, coriander or parsley and some pepper.

Turn the oven to 200 ° C to heat. Cut the chicken into thin, thick slices and mix in the thick sauce.

Cut the sheets of pastry dough into 4 square or triangular pieces and cover them on the desired dish and very gently crumple the surface of the dough with your fingertips so that the dough does not stick to the ingredients inside the dish.

Fold the edges of the dough inwards, or if your dish has edges, glue the edges of the dough to it.

Sprinkle a little pepper on the dough and place the dish in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the dough turns golden and the sauce is bubbling.

Serve the prepared food very quickly.
