Carrot cake is one of the cakes that has its own fans. Of course, most people don’t want to eat this cake when they first hear the name. But if you make a carrot cake with the following recipe, we are sure you will like the taste.
- Eggs: 4 pcs
- Brown sugar: 1/2 cup
- White sugar: 1/2 cup
- Flour: 1 and 3.4 cups
- Grated carrots : To the extent necessary
- Liquid oil: 3.4 cups
- Baking powder: 1 tbsp
- Baking soda: 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon: 2 and a half tablespoons
- Nutmeg or cardamom powder: 1/4 tablespoon jam
- Chopped walnuts: half a cup
How to prepare:
Preheat the oven to 180. C. Wash and peel the carrots and then grate them. After we grate them, press them well by hand to get the carrot juice.
Now break 4 eggs in a bowl and mix. Then add a glass of sugar to them and pour half a teaspoon of vanilla and stir with a mixer for about 7 minutes until the mixture is light and puffy and thick and elastic.
Add 1 glass of red liquid oil and stir very lightly for about 20 seconds. Now set aside the mixer and we need 2 cups of flour for this cake.
Add 1 tablespoon of baking powder to a glass and then sift over our ingredients. With a whisk, mix the flour with the ingredients and gently in one direction and in a circular motion, stirring so that the puffiness of our ingredients does not fall asleep.
After the flour is mixed, add the carrots and add the chopped walnuts and mix gently again in one direction. Prepare the mold and grease it with oil and then sprinkle flour on the bottom of the mold so that the cake does not stick. Pour the cake ingredients into the mold and then put the mold in the oven, which we turned on before starting work, and it was well heated to 180 degrees Celsius and let it cook for 50 minutes (do not open the oven door during this time. And just check with the toothpick for the last 10 minutes, and if the cake doesn’t stick to the toothpick, it means the cake is completely cooked.)
