Cake Welsh

This delicious cake is a kind of Welsh bread that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and served hot.

Ingredients :

  1. Flour: 500 grams
  2. Sugar: 75 grams
  3. Sweet Spices : 1 teaspoon
  4. Butter: 250 grams
  5. Salt: The tip of a teaspoon
  6. Raisins: 150 grams
  7. Eggs: 1 large
  8. Milk: Some
  9. Cream: 1 tablespoon
  10. Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
  11. Fruit: 400 grams
  12. Lemon: 1 piece

 

Preparation method:

Pour the flour into a large bowl, add 75 grams of sugar and spices. Add butter (cold) and salt. Mix the ingredients together by hand to form bread crumbs.

Add raisins (and other dried fruits) and mix. Now make a hole in the middle of the material and break the egg in it. Add a little milk to them and mix the ingredients together with a fork. Then lightly knead the ingredients. Heat the non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface until the pan is hot, dip the jar in flour and open the dough to a width of 1 cm. Mold the dough with a 5 cm round mold. Collect the rest of the dough, flatten it again and mold it. Cook them for about 4 minutes on all sides until golden. Take them out of the pan and place them on a wire rack and sprinkle a little sugar on them before they cool. You can cut them in the same way. You can also cut them in half. Mix the cream, 1 tablespoon of sugar and vanilla to form. Pour the fruits into a bowl and mix with lemon juice and sprinkle some sugar on them. Put a spoonful of cream in the middle of the cakes and serve with some fruit
