- Smoked ham: 250 g
- Blue cheese: 100 g
- Toast: 2 thick slices
- Mandab or spinach leaves: 1 large bunch
- Red cabbage: 1 cup
- Walnuts:. half cup
- green onion: 1 bunch
- Pure olive oil: 7 tbsp
- Red grape vinegar: 2 tbsp
- Dijon mustard sauce: 1 tbsp
- Salt and pepper: To the extent necessary
How to prepare:
Put a large pan on a high flame and when it heats up, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Cut the ham into 1 cm pieces and fry in olive oil. Reduce heat and add sliced bread – 1 cm square – to the pan. Roast them together for 3 minutes until the breads are toasted and golden.
To make the rest of the olive oil sauce, pour the red grape vinegar, Dijon mustard and some salt and pepper into a bowl that can be closed and shake the bowl until all the ingredients are mixed together.
Pour the salad leaves into a bowl and place the chopped Red cabbage on top of them and add the sauce. Then chop most of the walnuts and onions and put all the bread and ham mixture on them. Mix all ingredients together by hand.
Use a sharp knife, cut the blue cheese and place on the salad. Then pour the remaining walnuts and onions over the salad.
