Banana Smoothie Muffins

Some people may not like this muffin because of the greenish color, but give it a try. This recipe may turn into your favorite banana bread.



  • Ripe bananas: 3 pieces
  • Spinach: 2 cups
  • Strawberries: 8 pcs
  • Whole wheat flour: 1.5 cups
  • Sugar: 3/4 cup
  • Eggs: 1 pc
  • Canola oil: 1/4 cup
  • Baking soda: 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/8 teaspoon

How to prepare:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Put the bananas, spinach and strawberries in a blender in a puree.

Combine flour, sugar, eggs, oil, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a medium-sized bowl.

Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl and mix well.

Place muffin or paper cups in the muffin tray (you will need 2 muffin trays for 14 muffins).

Take the dough with a spoon and fill each paper cup to three-quarters.

Cook for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the toothpicks that come out of the muffin are clean.

Allow the muffins to cool and then serve.
