Ingredients :

  1. Minced meat: 400 grams
  2. tamarind: 3 tablespoons
  3. Pomegranate paste: 1 tablespoon jam
  4. Walnuts: 70 grams ground
  5. Chickpea flour: 2 tablespoons
  6. Onion: 3 pieces
  7. Almond slices: 25 grams
  8. Sugar: 2 tablespoons
  9. Salt, pepper, turmeric and curry powder: To the extent necessary

Recipes :

First, finely chop 1 onion and press it by hand to remove excess water. This step is important in not separating this food. Then pour into a bowl and grind with the meat and mix the ground walnuts and spices and chickpea flour.

Start kneading the meatballs. To do this, after kneading a few times, when you hold the ingredients a little cohesive in your hand and pound them into the bowl 50 times, the better you knead them, the better you will end up with.

Roll it in your hand, then put it in a dish and put it in the refrigerator to rest and become more cohesive.

Finely chop the other two onions and fry them in the desired pot or pan, then add a little turmeric, salt and black pepper and curry to the onion, add 2 glasses of water to it and let the water boil.

After the water boils, gently place the ingredients in the sauce and do not close the lid of the pot or pan at all, otherwise the meatballs will fall apart.

With the Arabic meatballs, add the sliced ​​almonds that you have already soaked a little to the pot so that the slices become soft at the same time as cooking.

Half an hour after cooking, mix the tamarind, which you opened and strained with lukewarm water, with pomegranate paste and sugar in a bowl, then add it to the food and let the Arabic meatballs cook for another 20 to 30 minutes. And the sauce thickens, then serve with rice or bread.
